Open Positions

Solar Installer

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • • Install solar array in rooftop and ground mount installations;

  • • Install solar module racking;

  • • Install solar modules;

  • • Perform wire management of solar module wires;

  • • Install PV wire for homeruns for solar module strings;

  • • Perform wire management of homeruns;

  • • Read construction plans; and

  • • Ensure compliance with safety requirements.

Requirements of Qualification:

  • • Physical ability to work on your feet and lift heavy loads;

  • • Ability to work on roofs;

  • • Willingness to work in outside conditions;

  • • High school graduate or equivalent; and

  • • Ability to pass criminal background and DMV check.

Additional Positive Attributes:

  • • Experience in construction;

  • • Knowledge of various solar racking systems is a plus; and

  • • Proficiency in reading designs, plans, and equipment specifications.

Rooftop superintendent

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • • Ensure compliance with safety requirements;

  • • Oversee the day-to-day activity of the solar installation team;

  • • Lead installation of solar racking and solar modules;

  • • Lead installation of DC scope of electrical work including, but not limited to, installing conduit and cable tray, pulling homeruns, and testing voltage of strings;

  • • Ensure adherence to job schedule;

  • • Perform quality control inspection and prepare punchlists;

  • • Receive, inspect, inventory, and stage all material and equipment;

  • • Understand construction plans and prepare as-builts from field modifications; and

  • • Complete daily reports with photos detailing work progress, problems, and questions.

Requirements of Qualification:

  • • Experience in construction leadership;

  • • Experience as a solar installer;

  • • Proficiency in reading designs, plans, and specifications;

  • • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, uploading documents and pictures, and using cloud storage;

  • • Physical ability and willingness to work in outside conditions;

  • • High school graduate or equivalent; and

  • • Ability to pass criminal background and DMV check.

Additional Positive Attributes:

  • • OSHA30 certification and forklift operating certification is a plus but can be provided if applicant lacks one or both; and

  • • Knowledge of Unirac, PanelClaw, Aerocompact, and IronRidge systems is a plus.

Groundmount superintendent

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • • Ensure compliance with safety requirements;

  • • Lead installation of structural piles and ground screws;

  • • Lead installation of solar racking and solar modules;

    • Ensure adherence to job schedule;

  • • Perform quality control inspection and prepare punchlists;

  • • Receive, inspect, inventory, and stage all material and equipment;

  • • Understand construction plans and prepare as-builts from field modifications; and

  • • Complete daily reports with photos detailing work progress, problems, and questions.

Requirements of Qualification:

Assistant Solar Project Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • • Manage construction, budget, and schedule for each project;

  • • Manage multiple solar projects simultaneously;

  • • Interact with client's project manager;

    • Order materials for projects;

    • Schedule equipment for projects;

    • Complete change orders;

    • Ensure completion of daily reports for projects, which shall include pictures and detailing of work progress, problems, and questions;

    • Ensure compliance with safety requirements on projects; and

    • Travel to projects throughout the Southeast as needed.

Requirements of Qualification:

  • • Experience in solar energy is a plus;

  • • Proficiency in reading designs, plans, and equipment specifications;

  • • Basic computer skills including Microsoft office, uploading documents and pictures, and using cloud storage;

  • • Physical ability and willingness to work in outside conditions; and

  • • Ability to pass criminal background and DMV check.
