Our Monthly Note - July 2025
Early morning. Crane raising material. PanelClaw racking being built.
Friends,
The first half of the year is over. Honestly, I can't believe it. It seems to have passed so quickly. This year, Pine has completed 27 projects. We have 10 currently under construction. We have eight that have yet to start. And we are still bidding for 2025 work. We are fortunate to be busy.
In June, we were on roofs in Morrilton, Arkansas; Atlanta, Georgia; Columbus, Georgia; Newnan, Georgia; and Greensboro, North Carolina. We built on metal roofs and on TPO roofs constructing IronRidge, Unirac, and PanelClaw systems. We built on manufacturing facilities, senior centers, and offices.
On the ground, we wrapped up piles and began racking on our OMCO fixed-tilt system in Athens, Tennessee. As well, we continued with racking, modules, and DC work on our ground mount in Marianna, Arkansas building the OMCO tracker with First Solar modules and Shoals harnesses for DC scope.
July will continue to be busy. We’re on roofs in Atlanta, Georgia; Greensboro, North Carolina; and Charleston, South Carolina. As permits are approved, we may find ourselves at the end of the month in Newnan, Georgia; Smyrna, Georgia; and Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. On the ground, we’ll be in Marianna, Arkansas; Danielsville, Georgia; Jeffersonville, Georgia; Columbus, Mississippi; and Athens, Tennessee. We’re also working on a canopy in Boulder, Colorado.
Perhaps it would be silly to write this note and completely ignore the current events in our nation’s capital. The news isn’t super, but I tend to be optimistic about our industry. I think we just need to know the rules, and we’ll all get moving. There is a global need for our work. Our power is cheaper than traditional sources of power. Our power is built more quickly than traditional sources of power. Our power is cleaner than traditional sources of power. The current decision making by elected officials ignores the reality of the future. The future wins, and as part of the future, we’ll win as long as we all continue to do good work.
Our energy is clean, good, and right, and in my opinion, there will always be a need for safe, kind, and professional solar installers that achieve results and care about the team. As you continue to build and do the right work, I hope you’ll allow us to join your effort.
Thank you,
Jason
