A Unique Opportunity with Nevados

Learning the Nevados TRACE All Terrain Tracker with Joe Bollinger (far right) of the Nevados team.

On October 14 and 15 of last month, we were extremely fortunate to work with Nevados on a special opportunity at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Nevados has a test site for its TRACE All Terrain Tracker, and we were the first mechanical subcontractor to “play in the dirt” on the test site.

Our onsite team was led by Bret Boyd, Superintendent, and Casey Singley, Assistant Project Manager, and Bret, Casey, and the installers found the construction to be straightforward and efficient.

The timing of the install couldn’t have been better. This fall and winter, we’re building the Trace All Terrain Tracker with our friends at Eitri Foundry on a site in Mechanicsville, Virginia.

We have a strategy to build relationships with the great ground mount and roofing manufacturers in the solar industry. We believe that these relationships allow so many advantages. Chief among them, we have more opportunities for new learning experiences, and we are better able to support our clients. When we can work with our clients together with manufacturers and answer questions and solve problems, we know that our work is better positioned to stand the test of time.

This relationship with Nevados is new, and we’re thankful for it. Look out for photos from Virginia soon!
