Our Monthly Note - August 1, 2026
Modules installed in Winthrop, Maine on the OMCO Choice fixed-tilt system.
Friends,
July saw some hot temperatures, the deadline for safe harboring IRA tax credits, and the last full month of summer (if you live by the school calendar in the Southeast, as some of us do). We hope that you had a safe, productive month. We plugged away on the ground and the roof.
On the ground, we wrapped up production of our OMCO Origin tracker in Brinkley, Arkansas. We installed over 10,000 modules on a 6.4MW site. We also completed modules at our first site in Winthrop, Maine, where we built the OMCO Origin tracker on ground screws. There, we installed 2,000 modules on a 1.4MW site. We’ve now moved on to installing modules on our second site in Winthrop, Maine where we have 1,800 modules on a 1.2MW site. Maine has been good to us, so far.
On the roof, we worked in Atlanta, Georgia; Decatur, Georgia; Norman Park, Georgia; Ashburn, Virginia; and Chester, Virginia; and Leesburg, Virginia. Much of the work continued to be on schools, and we installed Unirac EcoFoot2+ and RM, IronRidge rails, PanelClaw clawFR, and Solar Stack.
Last month, safety toolbox talks discussed returning to work after a long weekend or vacation and avoiding falls while using portable ladders and guardrail safety.
We also received good news from Solar Power World’s rankings of the top solar contractors of 2025. We are proud to be recognized as the 15th largest installation contractor in the United States and the 6th largest in the commercial and industrial space.
July was a good month. August has exciting work as well. We’ll be in Georgia, Maine, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. And we still have capacity for August and the fall. Please be in touch about your work.
Thank you,
Jason
