Our Monthly Note - August 2025
Juan and the crew in Louisville, Kentucky
Friends,
I am fortunate to write to you at the beginning of another month. It is a pleasure to work in this industry with all of you, and this month, we appreciated the recognition as a top solar contractor in Solar Power World. We’re proud to be the 18th largest installation subcontractor in the country.
Pine Energy had a busy July, and I hope you did too.
On the roof, we were in Atlanta, Georgia; Louisville, Kentucky; Greensboro, North Carolina; Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania; Charleston, South Carolina; and Leesburg, Virginia. We built at an airport, distribution facility, senior center, refrigeration facility, middle school, and condominium building. We installed IronRidge, PanelClaw, Solar Stack, and Unirac. In the above picture, Juan and crew celebrate great work on our first project in Kentucky. We have a tradition at Pine Energy - when we work in a new state, we hang a pennant on our office wall. We get the pennant from Oxford Pennant, so it’s time to add Kentucky!
On the ground, we were in Marianna, Arkansas building an OMCO tracker, Columbus, Mississippi building an APA fixed-tilt, and Athens, Tennessee building an OMCO fixed-tilt. We also built OMCO fixed-tilt arrays in Georgia for two farmers.
Finally, we’re working on a canopy in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.
August will be busy, busy. Lots of exciting projects including the opportunity to learn a new racking system on a roof in North Carolina - SunBallast. We hope you stay safe and busy. If we can help you finish your 2025 successfully, please let us know about any of your upcoming projects. And if you’re already looking toward 2026, we are too!
Thank you,
Jason
