Our Monthly Note - June 1, 2026
Big smiles from Fidel and Casey in Virginia.
Friends,
May was a nice month for Pine Energy. We enjoyed working throughout the Southeast on ground mount and rooftop projects, and we implemented new safety initiatives. We also planned for exciting summer work in new places. We hope you had a very productive month as well.
On the roof, we worked at schools, manufacturing facilities, and shopping centers. Our work was in Atlanta, Georgia; Cartersville, Georgia; Flowood, Mississippi; Matthews, North Carolina; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Chester, Virginia; Hillsville, Virginia; and Leesburg, Virginia. Schools are ramping up with summer underway. We do a lot of work at schools. They’re unique job sites with strict requirements. Very similar to our airport work, which we highlighted earlier this month in a post about our 2025 work at Piedmont Triad International Airport in North Carolina. This month, we built Unirac Ecofoot2+, IronRidge, and PanelClaw systems. We also continue our turnkey work as we finish a roof project in South Carolina and continue in Georgia and Mississippi.
On the ground, we’re full steam ahead on an OMCO tracker in Brinkley, Arkansas. Our crew is working on a 6MW+ project. It’s a unique one with a blend of modules from Canadian Solar and First Solar.
In May, we had great toolbox talks about cell phone usage and near misses. As part of our talk on near misses, we also launched our Good Catch Safety Program. This program encourages all Pine Energy employees to report near misses - risky situations that didn’t lead to injury or damage but could have if something was slightly different in the situation. We launched an internal email address at goodcatch@pineenergyllc.com, and teammates are asked to submit their near misses. The Good Catch Safety Program reminds us that safety is everyone’s responsibility.
This month, we’re spread out again. Work continues in Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Virginia. We are also excited to add the state of Maine to our geography. It’s about time considering its nickname - the Pine Tree State. In Maine, we’re building more OMCO.
Please keep us in mind for your upcoming work. We’re performing more turnkey projects to meet market demand, and we’re expanding our geography. We look forward to building more with old friends and new and putting our values of safety, kindness, and professionalism front and center.
Thank you,
Jason
