Our Monthly Note - February 1, 2026
Working in the cold. Crew in Charleston, Arkansas.
Friends,
I hope this note finds you well after a good start to the year. It was a cold one for us. Ice, snow, and temperatures definitely got in our way. However, work was still performed in a safe, kind, and professional manner. Those are our values regardless of weather. Perhaps you were also slowed down by the conditions. If so, I hope you too stayed safe and productive as much as possible.
In January, we worked on the ground in Charleston, Arkansas; Laurel, Delaware; and Mechanicsville, Virginia. We are building trackers at each location - OMCO, ARRAY Technologies, and Nevados, respectively. In Paris, Arkansas, we also started DC scope of work installing Shoals harnesses and dressing wire. This month, we’ll aim to bring Charleston and Laurel to completion successfully.
On the roof, we worked in Braselton, Georgia; Duluth, Georgia; McDonough, Georgia; Charlotte, North Carolina; Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Chester, Virginia. We have over 5MW of rooftop work ongoing. We’re building on metal roofs with IronRidge rails and TPO roofs with Unirac Ecofoot2+ and IronRidge BX. We’re also excited to be handling AC scope as we expand our abilities. We now have one full-scope roof under our belt, one on-going, and two in the pipeline.
This month, we launched our revamped weekly toolbox talks. We organized our archive of toolbox talks from 2025 and added some new ones. Now, we perform a toolbox talk on a scheduled topic every two weeks. In-between weeks have an open forum safety talk led by our superintendents. This month, we covered work in cold weather and safe use of heavy equipment.
We’re looking forward to a productive February. Hopefully with some warmer temperatures. We hope everyone has a good month. As always, if you have a ground mount or rooftop project and you need a safe, kind, professional contractor that can build any system anywhere, please holler.
Thank you,
Jason
