Our Monthly Note - November 2026

Our canopy work in Columbia, South Carolina

Friends,

I hope November finds you well after a safe, productive October. It was a nice month for Pine Energy starting projects, continuing projects, and completing projects.

On the roof, we were in Sunrise, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Bourbonnais, Illinois; Kokomo, Indiana; Charlotte, North Carolina; Chester, Virginia; and Fairfax, Virginia. We had our first experience with the DCE Eco-Top system as we built on a storage facility in Atlanta. In Charlotte, we installed the IronRidge BX, and in Fairfax, we installed the Unirac RM. As previously shared, Bourbonnais and Kokomo saw us swapping modules and continuing our repower, reinstall, and decommissioning work. Storage facilities, furniture chains, department stores, factories, and government buildings now have more solar.

On the canopy, we worked in Columbia, South Carolina installing modules on a 3.77MW project. It will be done in two phases over a parking garage at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport, and we’ve begun with phase 1. It’s a unique project because it includes placing gaskets between the modules to limit water flow into the garage. More to come on this project.

Our toolbox talks in October focused on unexpected weather conditions and noise and hearing protection. We also did some teaching spending time with the Green Construction course at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the classroom and on site.

November will be good for us. We’ll be on the roof in Atlanta, Georgia; Leesburg, Georgia; Sunrise, Florida; Richland, Mississippi; Fairfax, Virginia; and Sterling, Virginia. We’ll continue our canopy work in Columbia, South Carolina, and we’ll also drive screws on a ground mount in Milton, New Hampshire, a new state for us.

We look forward to seeing friends at RE+ in the middle of the month. Let us know if you plan to be there. And as you look toward 2027, please keep us in your plans for upcoming projects. We’re excited to end 2026 well and continue momentum into a new year.

Thank you,

Jason
